Academic Counseling

Many students experience academic difficulties during their college years. Meeting with a counselor teaches you strategies to help you improve academically. Academic counseling complements academic departments’ advising services. A student’s counselor might address semester withdrawal requests, poor grades, test anxiety, learning disabilities, dissertation support, or study skills. Counseling Center staff often offers workshops on a variety of academic topics. We invite you to review the information about NC State University academic policy and procedures listed in the right-hand navigation.
