The NC State Student Health Center is home to the Student Health Services, the Counseling Center, and Health Promotion. Our services are designed to meet the needs of NC State students. Highly qualified professionals provide top quality care and can assist with referrals to on and off campus resources. As a part of tuition and fees, the health fee at NC State covers routine visits to providers (physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners), Health Promotion, and most Counseling Center visits. Services with a charge are offered at prices competitive with the community. Also, housed in the Student Health Center is the Disability Services Offices, a unit with the Office of Institutional Equity and Diversity. Being housed under one roof allows the departments to work together to better assist students with their health and wellness needs.
The Student Health Center has achieved LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold Certification. We are proud to be the first LEED Gold building on NC State’s Campus. In addition, we are the first east coast Student Health Center, and the second nationally, to receive this honor.
